Samhain Group Tarot Ritual
A very special, witchy Group Tarot Ritual with a seasonal twist, incorporating ancestral reverence and the co-creation of an altar to the ancestors. Connect to the source of the blood in your veins, and to the bones in the land. How can we honour our beloved dead, and what do they wish for us?

Time & Location
Oct 26, 2025, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Bloor West Village, Toronto, ON, Canada
About the event
There will be magic.
There will be ancestor reverence.
There will be a group tarot ritual.
There will be drinks to toast and honour with.
There will be a co-created altar.
There will be beautiful community connection and support.
There will be candles and flowers and smoke and a gorgeous, moody, witchy vibe.
Together we will partake in a group tarot ritual, which functions as an act of community care.
No personal sharing is required, although often participants choose to do so.
Whatever private information may be shared in the space is asked to be kept in the circle. This is to say: please honour the privacy and trust of other participants, and do not discuss the personal matters of another outside of this container.
Each participant will receive:
-a personal tarot card reading
-a small beverage of their choosing (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to toast to the ancestors
Each participant is asked to bring:
-a photo or photos, and/or an item or items that represent any deceased loved ones who you wish to honour.
You will be taking these items home with you again.
Examples of items a person might choose to bring:
-a photograph, framed or loose
-a piece of jewelry
-a bit of food or drink they enjoyed while alive, or something else that they might appreciate or miss (ex: their pipe, dancing shoes, flowers, an instrument they played or a representation thereof, etc.)
-an accessory or piece of clothing they liked to wear
-their name written on a piece of paper
-something from the land they lived on, such as a rock or a small vessel of soil
-an example of an item they had liked to collect
-any trinket memorabilia from their life
Dress Code:
Please dress all in black, or at least in dark colours.
No one will be turned away for choosing not to do so.
To align our dress in this manner helps to keep the tone ceremonial, and also helps to unite the group.
Location and Accessibility:
At a house in Bloor West Village, near Runnymede Station.
Exact address provided upon registration.
This is the only time a group tarot ritual will be held in this space, and it is a beautiful, well-loved space that Candace is very excited to share on this occasion. This is a very special opportunity.
There are 5 steps up to the front door. Both the event space and washroom are on the main floor.
There will be some smoke (from the burning of dried herbs and some tree resin). This can be minimized as required, such as in the case of a participant with asthma. Please let your host know if this applies to you.
This event is welcoming of all, including all gender expressions.
