This Yule community gathering features seasonal magic that includes:

• candle-making

• sigil magic

• affirmations & intention setting for the new year

• group tarot

• community connection

• a take-home ritual, to keep the magic going

Together we will partake in a group tarot ritual, which functions as an act of community care, while lit by the glow of our ritual candles, which we will make together and infuse with potent intentions.

No personal sharing is required in the group tarot ritual, although often participants choose to do so.

Whatever private information may be shared in the space is asked to be kept in the circle.

This is to say: please honour the privacy and trust of other participants, and do not discuss the personal matters of another outside of this container.

Each participant will receive:

-a personal tarot card reading

-all supplies required to make two small ritual beeswax candles

Preparation:

We will start with our intentions for the new year. What do you want to manifest, invite in, create, or commit to in the year ahead?

This may be worth considering before the event. Come with some ideas and inspiration for your new-year dreams, focus-points, or intentions!

Location and Accessibility:

At a house in Mirvish Village, approximately equal distance between Christie Station and Bathurst Station.

Accessibility considerations:

There are 4 steps up to the front door. 

The event space is on the main floor.

The washroom is on the third floor (35 steps).

There will be a cat present.

There may be some smoke from the candles burning, although beeswax burns very clean, and does not tend to smoke much, if at all.

This event is welcoming of all, including all gender expressions.

**supporter folks will be granted free access to one Kitchen Witch Workshop, which is a seasonal video workshop series coming in spring of 2026

***the energy exchange spot is for a helper who will arrive early and stay late, to help with both set-up and clean-up, provide a testimonial (video or written), and either create a post about the event, or refer 3 friends to the next Group Tarot Ritual. This helper will need to be able to move up and down the steps a few times.
